Unwanted Christmas presents? Donate them to International Service

Christmas is a time for giving, but unfortunately not all givers have the best taste.
Unless you’re incredibly lucky (or sent out a specific list of desired items before), chances are you’ll have at least one gift that you don’t like –or can’t even stand the sight of!
This is where we come in...
The International Service Alumni Board, a collection of recently returned ICS volunteers, have recently set up an Alumni Small Grants Fund. The fund will support our project partners with one-off grant of up to £250. Small projects may include one-off purchases, start-up costs for new ventures or awareness-raising events. These small projects should be designed to enhance and enrich the work of the project partners and should provide benefits for the wider community.

If you were (un)lucky enough to receive an unwanted Christmas gift, we will take it off your hands and either sell or raffle it off, with all the money raised going straight back into the fund.
To donate, please contact smckenna@internationalservice.org.uk

We will have drop off points or arrange collections in York, London, Brighton or Birmingham.
Or you can post your unwanted gifts to
Stella McKenna, Alumni Coordinator, International Service, Second Floor, Rougier House, 5 Rougier Street, York YO1 6HZ
Thanks in advance!
The International Service Alumni Board
